"SPC Geoken" LLP was established in 1997 through the merger of «Aerogeophysical Expedition» and Kazakhstan branch of «All-Union Scientific-Research Institute of Exploration Geophysics».
"SPC Geoken" LLP is a service company engaged in a wide range of geological and geophysical and engineering survey operations, which possesses high technological methods, «state-of-the-art» equipment and technologies and fifty years experience of geological-geophysical investigations.
The divisions of “SPC Geoken” LLP fulfil field researches within and outside the territory of Kazakhstan.
Possesses State Licenses for:
- Production of topographic-geodetic and cartographic works
- Design and engineering services in building
- Production of confidential operations and keeping a party of state secrets protection
- Mining design and exploitation, drilling operations
- The Company is certified for the correspondence of the management system to the international standards of quality ISO 9001: 2008, environment control ISO 14001: 2004 and estimation of professional safety and health OHSAS 18001:2007.
- Has a highly qualified personnel of geophysicists, surveyors, engineers, geologists and scientists
- Has production and field bases of maintenance of works, branches in Atyrau and Uralsk cities
- Is a dealer of Scintrex Company to distribute geophysical equipment
Work experience:
- Marine gravity survey on the structures of Kurmangazy, Kashagan, Aktoti, Kairan;
- Gravity survey of transit zone of the Caspian Sea;
- Gravity survey of the Eastern part of the Aral Sea;
- Gravity survey of Zhanibek site (Western Kazakhstan);
- Gravity survey and geomagnetics at the sites of Alibek East and Daulskiy (Aktubinsk region);
- Bathymetric survey of North-eastern part of the Caspian Sea;
- Geodynamic monitoring of Tengiz, Korolevskoye, Prorva and Botahan HC deposits;
- Engineering surveys of international oil pipeline Kazakhstan-China, power lines LEP-500, Shu-Shiganak, reconstruction of gas pipeline CAC-4;
- And others.
The Company has an appropriate infrastructure, vehicles and other equipment required for operations in any conditions, such as: quicksand, fresh-fell snow, transition zone, sors, saline lands. During operations in offshore and transition zones small size boats, air cushion vehicles (ACV), aero-boats and vehicles-amphibious are used. We have good and stable scientific-technical relationship with many leading geophysical centers and plants-manufacturers of geophysical and geodetic equipment.
